Today we bring you a new activity to do during these days that we stay at home. You will need very simple materials which you probably already have at home. We hope you like it!
Materials:
- Construction paper
- One black felt pen
- One pencil
- One toilet paper tube
- Glue
- An eraser
- Scissors
- A ruler
- Optional: scotch tape
Instructions:
Step 1
Cut a piece of construction paper so that it matches the circumference of the toilet paper tube and stick it on the toilet paper tube.
Step 2
Use the toilet paper tube to draw two circles on the construction paper. These will be used as the front and back parts of the dog’s body. Draw a tail on one of the circles. This will be the dog’s tail. Paste them as shown in the image below.
Step 3
Draw the dog’s face on the construction paper. Also, draw a thick “neck” attached to the dog’s face. Cut your drawing and fold the “neck” backwards so that it is perpendicular to the dog’s face. Stick it to the dog’s body.
Step 4
Now it is time to make the dog’s legs. For this, you will need four pieces of construction paper which are approximately 1.3cm x 9cm. Fold each piece in half and paste them so that you are left with pieces of approximately 1.3cm x 4.5cm. This will make the dog’s legs stronger.
Step 5
Fold the side of each of the dog’s legs (as shown in the image below) and paste them on the dog’s belly.
