Decorate your window with plants and pretty pots of your favorite animals made with plastic bottles. There is no more fun way to beautify our homes and help the planet at the same time.
Materials
- Plastic bottles
- Scissors
- Permanent marker
- Pencil
- Paint
- X-acto knife
Instructions:
Step 1
Draw the ears of the animal on the bottle using a permanent marker and then cut off the perimeter using some scissors.
Step 2
Clean the inside of the bottle with a little paper towel and water. Then, use an x-acto knife or a drill to make two holes in the base of the bottle. This will allow excess water to drain out of the soil.
Step 3
Paint the outside of the bottle with the color you want the animal to be. Let it dry, and then proceed to paint a second layer. If necessary, paint an additional layer until the color of the bottle looks uniform.
Step 4
Once the bottle has dried, use a pencil to draw the face of the animal. Then use some paint to make the details of the face. When it is dry, you can use a permanent marker to draw additional details to the face.
Step 5
Ready! The pot is finished. Now you can put in some soil and plant your favorite plant, or if you want, you can also put in a fake plant. It will make your room look wonderful!
