Cereal bars, make them now!
This delicious recipe is gluten-free and vegan (if you use dairy-free chocolate)! Let's see how to prepare them...
Ingredients:
(16 cereal bars)
- 2 large ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup applesauce or applesauce (this replaces the egg)
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 1/2 cups oatmeal (not instant)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract/essence
- 1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
- Coconut oil to grease the baking sheet
Now that we have the ingredients. Let's get to making these delicious cereal bars!
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Then, with coconut oil, grease a square baking sheet.
- Then, in a large bowl, mash the bananas and mix each ingredient in the order listed.
- When you finish, pour the mixture into the square pan and leave it in the hot oven for 27 minutes.
- Finally, let it cool for over 1 hour and then leave it in the refrigerator for 1 hour (it will be easier to cut).
