Barras De Cereal de Avena, Plátano, Chocolate y Mantequilla De Maní

Oatmeal, Banana, Chocolate & Peanut Butter Cereal Bars

This delicious recipe is gluten-free and vegan (if you use dairy-free chocolate)! Let's see how to prepare them...

Ingredients:

(16 cereal bars)

  • 2 large ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup applesauce or applesauce (this replaces the egg)
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 cups oatmeal (not instant)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract/essence
  • 1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
  • Coconut oil to grease the baking sheet

Now that we have the ingredients. Let's get to making these delicious cereal bars!

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Then, with coconut oil, grease a square baking sheet.
  3. Then, in a large bowl, mash the bananas and mix each ingredient in the order listed.
  4. When you finish, pour the mixture into the square pan and leave it in the hot oven for 27 minutes.
  5. Finally, let it cool for over 1 hour and then leave it in the refrigerator for 1 hour (it will be easier to cut).

That's it! Now you have some delicious cereal bars that make the perfect snack 🙂
