How do you prepare these healthy blueberry muffins?
Let's start with the ingredients!
Ingredients:
- 1 taza de yogurt griego
- 1/4 de taza de leche
- 1 huevo
- 1 cucharadita de vainilla
- 1/3 taza de miel *
- 1 taza de avena
- 3/4 taza de harina – puedes usar harina integral, harina libre de gluten o harina regular, pero debe ser sin preparar
- 1 cucharadita de polvo para hornear
- 1/2 cucharadita de bicarbonato de sodio
- 1/4 cucharadita de canela
- 1/4 cucharadita de sal
- 1 taza de arándanos
- 4 cucharadas de aceite de coco derretido o cualquier aceite vegetal que tengas en casa
*The amount of honey can vary according to your preferences. If you prefer a sweeter muffin, we recommend using more honey.
Instructions:
Step 1
First, preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and grease a muffin tin.
Step 2
Then, mix all the dry ingredients (oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt) in a bowl.
Step 3
Mix all the wet ingredients (yogurt, milk, egg, vanilla, honey, oil) in another bowl.
Step 4
Once you have finished steps 2 and 3, pour the wet ingredients mixture into the dry ingredients bowl and mix everything until you have a uniform dough. Then, incorporate the blueberries into the mixture.
Step 5
Now pour the mixture into the baking tin and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
Step 6
Once ready, remove the muffins from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. You can eat them as is or drizzle a little more honey on them before eating.
